Appealing to those who aren't all about business, Verizon creates a commercial showing the amazing new blackberry storm and its music capabilities- Smart... Considering most people who are into the latest technology, especially when it comes to phones, are of the younger age groups. The blackberry storm is all over commercials and I'm sure its doing very well, it is the first touch screen blackberry that can do just about anything... who wouldn't love it?!

The world's first digital clutch
During one of my AMT classes the other day, my teacher shared with us what was the latest in her innovative business magazines. Nike and HP both has something interesting to show.
Nike's going in a new direction with running shoes- "The Nike Zoom Start+ 2009 and Nike Air Span+ 6 made by footwear designer Sebastien Mermet both have the unique fit, great comfort, and uncompromised style that runners require. They even have the technology to monitor your running stats and sync with your iPod. Inspired by his own experiences in relay races, Mermet believes the ultimate running shoe has good cushioning, stability, and lightweight performance. To achieve this, Mermet used Flywire technology to create Nike Zoom Start+ (P4,995), which has thin yet strong fibers to help support the foot, even with obvious reduction on the forefoot overlays."
HP is also coming out with something that offers more- style. "HP and Vivienne Tam present the world's first designer digital clutch: the Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam Edition." Not only does it bring fashion to technology, but it also is so small that it can fit in your purse. Just what a girl needs!

Free Doritos
So this is a little late, but when I saw this commercial during the Super bowl I had to include it in my blog. Although this wasn't my favorite commercial it definitely was up there. Not only did I laugh, but it made me want some Doritos (mostly because I was starving probably.) This commercial is creative and caught the audiences attention by using typical "boy" humor involving violence and someone getting hurt. The funny thing is that this commercial wasn't even created by a professional advertising team; it was just a couple of guys who won the Doritos contest. "The brothers' "Free Doritos" commercial ended up beating out all the other Super Bowl ads in the USA Today Super Bowl Ad Meter (a 10-year-old consumer opinion poll), giving them the grand prize of $1 million." (cbsnews.com) I guess I wasn't the only one who found this commercial entertaining...
