CareerBuilder.com made a splash with this one. Although it is somewhat annoying, it still was pretty hilarious. Something people can relate to and get a kick out of at the same time. My favorite is the "and you probably sit next to this guy"... picking his feet in his underwear with a horrific laugh. Not to mention the first sceniro where the women is screaming... good commercial.

Unwronged?
Not really sure what this commercial has to do with a cell phone company but it definitely stands out so I guess it proved effective. Boost Mobile's commercials usually are pretty out of the ordinary, but long, red armpit hair? I was actually a little grossed out... who thinks of this kind of stuff?
The Axe Effect
Axe has always seemed to produced sexy, funny, entertaining videos. From girls hunting men down to "BOOM CHICKA WOW WOW," the Axe commercial are quite appealing. This is one of the most recent ones I've seen... its a little controversial and daring of Axe, but still hilarious.

Square pants gone bad
Burger King, what were you thinking? I saw this commercial and not only was I confused but also appalled. Square butts, really... Although they thought they were being creative incorporating Sponge Bob into their commercial, the overall message is inappropriate for the target audience. I wonder what parents thought of this commercial?

Whats in your ideal closet?
I saw this commercial the other day and died laughing!!! It is one of the best I've seen in a while... Whats better than a woman's walk in closet full of shoes and clothes and a man's full of beer? Heineken defiantly captured the essence of the stereotypical gender differences for what would be most desirable in a new huge sized walk in closet.

Pepsi's own youtube channel.. what next?
This is great- I discovered that pepsi has its own YouTube "channel" where you can watch all the pepsi commercials, old and new, connect with Pepsi, or post comments. Talk about great advertising! The featured video is even one of my recent favorites, the Pepsi Refresh Anthem... Perfect!

Are you sure this is a blackberry?
Appealing to those who aren't all about business, Verizon creates a commercial showing the amazing new blackberry storm and its music capabilities- Smart... Considering most people who are into the latest technology, especially when it comes to phones, are of the younger age groups. The blackberry storm is all over commercials and I'm sure its doing very well, it is the first touch screen blackberry that can do just about anything... who wouldn't love it?!

The world's first digital clutch
During one of my AMT classes the other day, my teacher shared with us what was the latest in her innovative business magazines. Nike and HP both has something interesting to show.
Nike's going in a new direction with running shoes- "The Nike Zoom Start+ 2009 and Nike Air Span+ 6 made by footwear designer Sebastien Mermet both have the unique fit, great comfort, and uncompromised style that runners require. They even have the technology to monitor your running stats and sync with your iPod. Inspired by his own experiences in relay races, Mermet believes the ultimate running shoe has good cushioning, stability, and lightweight performance. To achieve this, Mermet used Flywire technology to create Nike Zoom Start+ (P4,995), which has thin yet strong fibers to help support the foot, even with obvious reduction on the forefoot overlays."
HP is also coming out with something that offers more- style. "HP and Vivienne Tam present the world's first designer digital clutch: the Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam Edition." Not only does it bring fashion to technology, but it also is so small that it can fit in your purse. Just what a girl needs!

Free Doritos
So this is a little late, but when I saw this commercial during the Super bowl I had to include it in my blog. Although this wasn't my favorite commercial it definitely was up there. Not only did I laugh, but it made me want some Doritos (mostly because I was starving probably.) This commercial is creative and caught the audiences attention by using typical "boy" humor involving violence and someone getting hurt. The funny thing is that this commercial wasn't even created by a professional advertising team; it was just a couple of guys who won the Doritos contest. "The brothers' "Free Doritos" commercial ended up beating out all the other Super Bowl ads in the USA Today Super Bowl Ad Meter (a 10-year-old consumer opinion poll), giving them the grand prize of $1 million." (cbsnews.com) I guess I wasn't the only one who found this commercial entertaining...

A blanket with sleeves?

All my friends have been talking about this new amazing blanket, partly kidding and making fun of the commercial, but it seems to be the new "rage." Until a couple days ago, however, I had no idea what they were talking about... Then I saw the infamous commercial. As cheesy as it is, I can see why everyone thinks its so cool. Who would of thought, a blanket that has sleeves! And it even comes in three different colors.., plus buy one get one free! Even the name adds to its over all attractiveness. Snuggie. Makes me think of warm, cozy, soft, lazy etc. The website is called getsnuggie.com. So for those who haven't been introduced to this new product, I would suggest taking a look. I have even had a friend tell me he wants to have a "snuggie" date dash where you would wear these blankets instead of shirts, wow haha. I wonder if they really are that amazing?! The commercial ruins it for me, but check it out for yourself!
